Quite frankly Daniel Wellington watches are (in my humble opinion) some of the most visually stunning watches on the market. The minimalistic designs and uncluttered dials are a real hit with fans of simplistic, back to basic timepieces. The iconic coloured nylon straps with high polished stainless steel cases are a bold combination which is unlike anything else currently on the market.
I can tell that you are weeping with joy whilst reading this, and if that’s the case then you had better reach for the Kleenex because I’ve got some news that will have you shedding tears until you’re in a state of exhaustion. Our good friends over at DW have released a NEW COLLECTION and it’s safely tucked away in our titanium vault. The Grace Collection is a stand alone collection in its own right.
The brand has previously done nylon strap and leather strap options. It would seem somebody over there has decided to combine all previous templates to create a hybrid model. The Grace Collection features half leather half cotton straps; the dial layout has been slightly tweaked with the revision of hour markers. The cases themselves are described by DW as Sandblasted which essentially is a matt rose gold finish.
The end result is a watch that is at home in pretty much any occasion both formal and informal and I think that’s exactly what DW intended from the outset. Perhaps a move into more casual realms is on the horizon for Daniel Wellington collections in the future but for now your guess is as good as mine.
